We can not deny the fact, that we consume, but we don't produce anything of value for other "earth-members" but our own kind.
Tho, while having consumerism as an exit, the world can be made a great place to live on.
So far, this planet is the best place we can live, and I love it here.
We can use everything we got, burn the oil, chop the trees, and live in extreme luxury (the non ridiculous way).
Tho we can also give things back to the earth, preserve it, USE it, not ABUSE it.
I'm not talking about living naked in forests, because our species is not made for living in wilderness. That's why we don't got a fur, claws or teeth. Our advantage was and still is our mind, and ability of adaption which comes with it.
We still have the ability to live the way we do now, but give more to the earth, then to ourselves (taxes etc).
The better you take care of your bed, the nicer you sleep on it.
The same is for the people around us.
You get what you give, you will be the reaper of your seeds.
What goes around comes around, and many more.
It all comes down on, what you do to people, will come back.
Of course it will be hard now for any world order to say; "Right, let's stop shooting each other, get rid of hate, and let's bring some acceptance in this world".
Just because it's already messed up.
So my view is that we can still be consuming, but also returning the favor for this big green and blue.
And that world is as big as you make it, you can think of the entire world as this planet, but also the house you're living in!
Only difference is, if the house you are living in is rotten, you can leave it sooner or later.
Consider living in a house which is your home. This place is a place you do not feel comfortable in,
for any reason. After trying to create an comfortable environment, which failed, do you stay?
No. You don't. It's that easy.
It only has ONE big "but".
Always ask yourself; Am I part of the solution, or part of the problem?
If you are being part of the problem, and still leaving your chosen world, you are not returning the favor to the ground you live on.
And the blame is yours, as much as anything.
We should give our 110% for each other, and the others should do the same, so I too will get favors and return them.
We should do this to everybody (with everybody I also mean a body of water or anything inanimate).
That way we could create a world I would want to live in.
